Fresh off his February 2023 Tour in Colombia, multimedia artist, MH the Verb is affirming his power with another poetic Afrofuture-Rap anthem called, CRYSTALS.

CRYSTALS mixes elements of Hip Hop, jazz & trap-fusion with powerful lyrics rooted in wellness and healing.

The song is an ode to a friend, and a letter of admiration and empowerment to a loved one struggling with issues of self-worth and depression. Originally, the lyrics were written as a poem dedicated to MH’s long time friend and artistic collaborator who is thriving as a creative entrepreneur and single mother in West Philadelphia. In the song, MH encourages his friend with a reminder that while things may not “feel the same” as they did in the old days, “Nothing’s changed” in their friendship and how he looks up to her.

The Maxi-Single, “CRYSTALS healing” features a studio recorded single featuring new verses from MH the Verb and samples of Chena Kovax and Kuf Knotz from their 2019 collaboration, AFFIRMATIONS. The release also features an accompanying instrumental version of the song called, “healing” which highlights the bass and production support from Johann Sebastian.
